HTC Droid Incredible 2 | CellularCountry
When HTC Droid Incredible 2 has arrived and everything suggests that it's a good successor to the initial HTC Droid Incredible. Some things have changed, like the loss of the AMOLED display (HTC could not procure enough of them), however alternative things have not: theHTC Incredible 2 Verizon Cell Phone still has a nice industrial style, solid software and a colorful display.

HTC presents the Incredible 2 as a smart phone for those who “dare to be different”, as a “standout cinematic experience” and a good imaging phone. This sounds nice however is that basically so? In this review, I’m aiming to go over the most oftentimes used options to inform you the way the HTC Droid unimaginable 2 looks -and behaves- in the real world. Let’s look out the Pros and Cons of this cell phone and rate for your own.

Pros: The HTC Droid Incredible 2 improves on its predecessor by adding world-roaming capabilities and a larger, sharper screen. The Android device has a solid construction and features an 8-megapixel camera with 720p HD video capture.

Cons: The smartphone lacks 4G support and isn't running the latest Android software.

Bottomline: Though the lack of some features is disappointing, the HTC Droid Incredible 2 is an improved device and a good choice for Verizon customers looking for a global smartphone.

The HTC Droid Incredible 2 is really more of an incremental upgrade to the original model, and as such, you won't see some of the latest technology and software on the handset, which is sure to disappoint some. That said, we are happy to see the addition of world-roaming capabilities. The Droid Incredible 2 is a dual-mode handset, meaning that it supports both CDMA and GSM networks. Here in the States, it will continue to run on Verizon's CDMA/EV-DO Rev. A network as usual, but once abroad, the phone will automatically detect and switch to a GSM network.

The HTC Droid Incredible 2 does improve on its predecessor and is a much more refined product. The versatile smartphone is also a welcome addition to Verizon's world phone portfolio, which was a little heavy on the business-oriented models. We think $199.99 is slightly high for what you get but even so, we'd say that the HTC Droid Incredible 2 is one of Verizon's top world phones.
